COVID-19 vaccination information

At this point in time, all in-person delegates that join us at the Halifax Convention Centre must provide proof of vaccination during the registration process. Businesses and organisations hosting events and activities in the province are responsible to check that participants are fully vaccinated before they engage in the event or activity. This is a province and venue requirement as per the Nova Scotia COVID-19 Protocol for Proof of Full Vaccination for Events and Activities (see 'Protocols' on https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/alerts-notices/#health-protection-act-order).

For our full WMS 2022 COVID-19 guidelines, please click here https://www.wms2022.com/page/covid-19-guidance. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Please note this information is based on the current Canadian guidelines and is subject to change at any stage. For the most up to date information, please refer to https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/wizard-start.

To check if you qualify as a fully vaccinated traveller to Canada, go to https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/covid-vaccinated-travellers-entering-canada

According to the COVID-19 Protocol for Proof of Full Vaccination for Events and Activities in Nova Scotia, Canada (as of January 2022),  a person is considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Nova Scotia in the following circumstances:

  • 14 days or more after receiving the second dose of a two-dose series of a Health Canada authorized COVID-19 vaccine (Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca) following minimum dosing intervals. This includes a mix of these vaccines, such as one dose of AstraZeneca and one dose of Moderna.
  • 14 days or more after receiving a one-dose series of a Health Canada authorized COVID-19 vaccine (Janssen/Johnson & Johnson).
  • 14 days or more after receiving the final dose of any other World Health Organization authorized series of COVID-19 vaccine (such as Sinopharm, Sinovac or Covaxin).
  • 14 days or more after receiving one dose of a Health Canada authorized COVID-19 vaccine and one dose of any other World Health Organization authorized COVID-19 vaccine (such as Sinopharm and Moderna). It does not matter which vaccine is received first. The person is fully vaccinated 14 days after the second dose.

Our preferred payment method is online, by card. WMS2022 uses the services of Stripe for debit/credit card payments. You do not need to have a Stripe account to use this service.
