MASTERCLASS 1: Pre-owned Lasers - An Alternative Option to Consider When Buying?

kindly sponsored by All4Laser

Thursday 6 May, 2021
12:00 - 12:50pm (including live Q&A)

Over the past six decades, lasers have been used to treat a wide variety of medical and cosmetic applications. During this time, lasers have been widely accepted, with technologies becoming faster, safer, more effective and selective. However, not all practitioners are in a position to afford the expensive price tags these devices often command. This is especially true when starting up for the first time, or when equipping a chain of clinics, or when wanting to offer multiple laser treatments using different laser technologies.

Masterclass 1 Speakers

Graham Bisset

Bysetics

Graham is an independent and well-respected laser training consultant, with over 25 years experience in medical/aesthetic lasers and their clinical applications. Graham has attended over 370 national and international conferences and has lectured on several UK NVQ and VTCT Level 4 Courses in Lasers & Light.

Abstract:

This talk will focus on the advantages and pitfalls of buying pre-owned lasers as an alternative to buying new. The talk will first take the practitioner through the steps to consider when choosing which technology is appropriate for their practice, whether buying new or pre-owned. Then the talk will discuss the main issues relating to pre-owned lasers, such as where to buy, financing, warranty, service support, spare parts, reliability, clinical training, certification and insurance. Finally, we will look at what every practitioner should ask of suppliers before buying a refurbished laser.

Pedro is CEO of All4laser Ltd and has a long history in healthcare and the laser and device industry going back 20 years. He qualified as a Doctor in Psychology and still lectures at his local university.

He setup All4laser 13 years ago, realising that customers were really not getting true value or choice in what they wanted. His theory was, true independence in offering lasers or devices, is derived from having a choice from an independent company, not driven by selling their own manufactured lasers. Hence All4laser was born and is now one of the biggest device companies, offering all major manufacturers products, without pressure selling, and real independent advice.

We are here to offer advice, aftercare, service solutions that are tailored to the individual clinic.
